A couple weekends ago we had our first Virtual Reality (VR) game jam! We had the wonderful opportunity to team up with a VR lounge in Lincoln Park called Arthropod VR. It’s a relatively new lounge and is the first one in Lincoln Park. For this game jam, we decided to make it 24 hours.
We had some amazing people show up during finals weekend to make one incredible game called “A Very Epic Christmas”. You play as one of Santa’s elves assembling and sorting presents. For most of the participants, this was their first VR game and first VR game jam. If you have a VR headset and want to try out the game here’s the link to download it.
